Abstract:

Election Districts are mapped from various geographies including the U.S. Census Bureau and the Montana Spatial Data Infrastructure (MSDI) including CadNSDI. They have been projected to Montana State Plane NAD83(2011) meters [wkid: 6514].

Purpose:

The election district boundaries were mapped for each county that holds an election for these districts. View the individual layer's metadata for additional information. View the attribute table to find the source of the election district boundary and the last update date. The list of districts is provided by the Montana Secretary of State's Office (SOS) from the Election Management System. Election Districts include: Congressional Districts, Voting Precincts, Ambulance / EMS, Cemetery, Community Council, County Commissioner, Drainage, Fire, Hospital, Legislative Districts: House and Senate, Irrigation, Judicial, Jury, Library, Mosquito, Park, Public Service Commission, Resort, Rural, Rural Improvement, School, School Single Member Trustee, Sewer, Soil Conservation, Study Commission, Special, Urban Transportation, Wards, and Water Districts
